Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This policy explains how Robin Cove uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They help the site work, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and — for affiliate sites like ours — credit the correct retailer when you make a qualifying purchase. We also use browser local storage to power tools (such as your saved items and due-date tracker) entirely on your device.
Types of cookies we use
- •Essential cookies — needed for core functionality and security. The site cannot work properly without them.
- •Analytics (cookieless) — we measure site usage with a privacy-first, self-hosted analytics tool that sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and never tracks you across other sites. Counts are fully aggregated and cannot identify you.
- •Affiliate / referral cookies — set by us or by partner retailers (such as Amazon) when you click an outbound product link, so that qualifying purchases can be attributed and we can earn a commission at no extra cost to you (see our Affiliate Disclosure).
- •Preference / local storage — remembers choices like saved products, quiz results, and tracker dates. This data stays on your device unless you choose to share it (e.g. by subscribing).
Third-party cookies
When you click an outbound product link, the retailer you land on (such as Amazon) may set its own cookies to attribute a qualifying purchase. Those parties process data under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. Our analytics is self-hosted and cookieless, so it adds no third-party cookies.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can clear local storage the same way. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Most browsers also let you enable a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is no industry-standard response, we treat your browser controls as your preference.
